Chàng trai sinh năm 1995 này từng là thủ khoa đầu vào và đầu ra trường Đại học Sư phạm Kỹ thuật TP HCM khóa học 2013 – 2017.

Nhớ đến sự kiện đáng tự hào này Thái Khang khiêm tốn: “Mình cảm thấy may mắn khi có được thành tích khá như thế, và mình nghĩ rằng trên đời này mọi sự cố gắng đều sẽ được đáp đền xứng đáng mà thôi.

Hồi sinh viên của mình chắc cũng như các bạn, không có gì quá nổi bật nhưng lại vô cùng thoải mái và đáng nhớ với những kỷ niệm. Hồi đó mình thích đi lắm, dù không có điều kiện dư giả để du lịch nhiều.

Rồi đến khi ra trường thì mình giành thời gian để khám phá, đến giờ mình đã đi được Hà Giang, Sa Pa, Sơn La, Ninh Bình, Đà Nẵng, Hội An, Đà Lạt, các tỉnh miền Tây....”.

Từ những ngày đầu mới vào đại học, anh chàng này đã tự trang trải cuộc sống sinh viên bằng vệc kinh doanh, buôn bán các mặt hàng liên quan đến thời trang.

Hiện tại thì Thái Khang vẫn theo đuổi công việc chuyên ngành và không ngừng tìm hiểu, khám phá, dịch chuyển để thỏa mãn niềm đam mê bất diệt với du lịch của mình.

“Mình cảm thấy bản thân có duyên với buôn bán, nhờ thế cuộc sống cũng đỡ khó khăn hơn rất nhiều. Hơn nữa khi đi du lịch bằng chính đồng tiền mồ hôi mình bỏ ra thực sự rất thích thú, càng đi thì càng có nhiều động lực để cố gắng”, Thái Khang chia sẻ thêm.

Tháng 2/2018 sau những ngày làm việc chăm chỉ Thái Khang cũng “tậu” cho mình một chiếc xe vespa với giá hơn 80 triệu đồng. Đây cũng là mơ ước mà Khang ấp ủ từ khi còn là sinh viên.

Chuyến đi đầu tiên bằng chiếc xe máy này là từ TP HCM về quê ở Cần Thơ ăn tết. Sau lần đó thì Khang lên kế hoạch đi du lịch bằng xe máy.

Kể từ đó đến nay anh chàng đều vi vu trên chiếc xe này, tháng 3 anh đi Đà Lạt với hành lý vô cùng đơn giản, vài ba bộ quần áo cùng nhiệt huyết tuổi trẻ. Tháng 4, Thái Khang cùng những người bạn về miền Tây, đến An Giang thả hồn trong khung cảnh thơ mộng.

Đặc biệt, tháng 6 vừa qua anh phượt xuyên quốc gia sang Campuchia 2 ngày bằng chính xe máy. Chuyến trải nghiệm ở nước bạn không hề được lên kế hoạch trước, nhưng mọi thứ lại diễn ra suôn sẻ và thú vị.

Là một anh chàng cá tính nên Khang thích sự phá cách, độc đáo, bởi thế anh đã không ngần ngại tân trang cho “người bạn đồng hành” của mình bằng lớp màu “chẳng giống ai” – mùa hoen ố, hoen gỉ.

Khi nhìn chiếc xe có phần khác lạ của anh mọi người thường ngạc nhiên hỏi han, lúc đó anh chỉ cười trừ vì “mình thích thì mình làm chứ biết giải thích thế nào bây giờ”.
